Inkjet printer iron-on transfer removal from a t-shirt.

I used a steam iron set to the dry iron setting to iron my transfer onto the front of a dark brown 100% cotton t-shirt. My transfer ended up having white dots which made the picture look blotchy. I guess the steam holes in the bottom of the iron are what caused the problem, even though I had it set to the dry iron setting. I had to figure out how to remove the transfer because I already had letters ironed on the back of the shirt.

This is what worked for me. Heat your iron on the highest setting for about 10 minutes. I used the cotton setting. Place the front of the shirt on the ironing board with the transfer picture facing up towards you. Place a piece of plain white paper over the transfer. You must have patience and a little muscle for the next part. I kept moving the iron all over the white paper while putting pressure on the iron. After about 5 minutes the paper was really hot. I peaked under the paper and the transfer was sticking to the paper. You have to keep ironing over the paper until the entire transfer peels off onto the white paper. I've removed two transfers using this method.

Cairn Terriers

Duncan is a Cairn Terrier. He is an allergy-free, hypoallergenic dog. I am very allergic to dogs, so I researched allergy-free dogs on the internet. He is a great dog! I have no allergy problems around him. He has a lot of energy. He has a wire outer coat. He is very affectionate and has a sweet personality. He's also very nosy.

I am addicted to 24 and to Jack Bauer! I've seen the first three seasons on dvd by borrowing them from my local library. Here are synopsis of the first three seasons:

Season 1 begins and ends at 12:00 AM on a Tuesday, and occurs on the day of the California presidential primary. Jack Bauer must protect Senator David Palmer from an assassination plot, and rescue his family from those responsible for the plot, who seek retribution for Jack's involvement with a covert U.S. mission in the Balkans.

Set 18 months after season 1, season 2 begins and ends at 8:00 AM. Jack must stop a nuclear bomb from detonating in Los Angeles, then assist President David Palmer in proving who is responsible for the threat.

Set 3 years after season 2, season 3 begins and ends at 1:00 PM. While struggling with heroin addiction, Jack must re-infiltrate a Mexican drug cartel in order to keep it from acquiring a deadly virus. Jack must then stop the mastermind behind the virus from releasing it.

Lyme Disease

I'm posting the newest picture of the rash. It got worse overnight. It was confirmed by a doctor that my husband has Lyme Disease. He has to be on an antibiotic of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate. He has to take one 500 mg tablet three times daily for twenty-one days.

My husband has to make an appointment with his doctor. We think he may have Lyme Disease. He removed a tick from the back of his leg almost two weeks ago, and this is what the bullseye rash looks like surrounding the bite mark:

Lyme disease (Lyme borreliosis) is a bacterial infection that is spread by ticks. You may develop Lyme disease if you are bitten by an infected tick.

In the United States, the two types of ticks that carry Lyme disease bacteria are Deer ticks and Western black-legged ticks.

Early symptoms can include an expanding circular rash called erythema migrans, and flulike symptoms, such as body aches, fatigue, and mild fever. In the United States, about 80% of people with Lyme disease develop a circular rash at the site of the tick bite. However, some people don't have any symptoms in the early stages of Lyme disease.

The incubation period-the time from when you are first infected until you develop symptoms-is usually around 7 to 14 days, but symptoms can develop anywhere from 3 to 31 days after you are bitten.

We took a trip to Dorney Park. My daughter had a fabulous time because their children's ride section was devoted to Snoopy and the Peanuts characters. It was called Camp Snoopy. They had a shop called Camp Snoopy Outfitters which was filled with only Snoopy and Peanuts merchandise. She loves Snoopy! Here are some pictures:

The Police are doing a reunion concert tour this year. I have never seen The Police in concert. I've seen Sting several times in concert. He puts on a great show! Here is part of an article from an online source:

Stargate Atlantis

Stargate Atlantis Season Two is finally coming to dvd March 6, 2007. Here is a synopsis:

Season 2 began airing in the United States on July 15, 2005 and it picked up just where season 1 ended. The Atlantis expedition successfully avoids being culled by the Wraith by making them believe Atlantis has been destroyed, and recover semi-regular contact with Earth thanks to the Daedalus and the new ZPM. Sheppard is promoted to Lt. Colonel and former Runner Ronon Dex replaces Lt. Ford, now MIA.

The central plot of this second season is the development of Dr. Beckett's retrovirus, which can, theoretically, turn a Wraith into a human. While a not yet ready version makes a young Wraith girl lose all her humanity and almost turns Col. Sheppard into an Iratus bug, a more developed version is tested in a living Wraith, Michael, with mixed results. The season closes again with a cliffhanger, with the Wraith on their way to Earth.

"Stargate: Continuum" While SG-1 attends the execution of Ba'al, the last of the goa'uld system lords, Teal'c and Vala inexplicably disappear into thin air. Carter, Daniel and Mitchell race back to a world where history has been changed: the Stargate program has been erased from the timeline. As they try to convince the authorities what's happened, a fleet of goa'uld motherships arrives in orbit, led by Ba'al, his queen, Katesh, (Vala) and his first prime, Teal'c. SG-1 must find the Stargate and set things right before the world is enslaved by the goa'uld.

'Lost' Planning End Date

In a highly unusual move for a broadcast series, ABC and the producers of "Lost" are in discussions to determine an end date for the show.

The date will set a limit to the number of "Lost" seasons to come and will be announced to fans. The show's producers, speaking at ABC's Television Critics Association press tour session, said having a conclusion date will bolster fan confidence in the series' narrative. A timeline for making the decision was not announced.

"It's time for us now to find an endpoint for the show," said executive producer Carlton Cuse. "JK Rowling announced there were seven books in the Harry Potter series and it gives fans [a framework for understanding the arc of the show]. 'The X-Files' was a cautionary tale for us. It was a great show that ran two seasons too long. 'Lost' has a short-half life."

"None of us want to be doing the stalling show," added executive producer Damon Lindelof. "We don't want them to be building sandcastles next week."

Though the series ratings have dipped this fall, the show remains one of ABC's top-rated programs. During the first season, Mr. Lindelof said the show could run nine seasons if necessary, noting the island has plenty of mysteries. Recently, fans and critics have grown frustrated, however, with the show's continually expanding mythology that keeps piling on new mysteries and characters.

After the panel, Mr. Lindelof suggested the series might cap at 100 episodes, which would only result in two more seasons. But ABC Entertainment President Steve McPherson sought to downplay the producers' statements, noting that "we've had those discussions for the past two years."

Earlier while on stage, Mr. McPherson said he agreed with critic complaints that the first six episodes this season pulled the story too far from the group dynamics that made the show popular.

"[The writers] made a clear choice that first installment would be about Jack, Kate, Sawyer and The Others," he said. "For me, the show I really invest in is having everybody together. I thought it was a riveting six episodes, but I like it when they're all together and they're heading toward that again after the break."

Though Mr. McPherson stood by his decision to schedule a four-month break in the "Lost" schedule this season, he reiterated his plan (first reported last month in TelevisionWeek) to try and run next season's episodes without a break or repeats, launching either in the fall or spring.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — George Lucas said Friday that filming of the long-awaited "Indiana Jones" movie will begin next year. Harrison Ford, who appeared in the three earlier flicks, the last one coming in 1989, is set to star again. Lucas said he and Steven Spielberg recently finalized the script for the film.

"It's going to be fantastic. It's going to be the best one yet," the 62-year-old filmmaker said during a break from preparing for his duties as grand marshal of Monday's Rose Parade.

Exact film locations have not been decided yet, but Lucas said part of the movie will be shot in Los Angeles.

The fourth chapter of the "Indiana Jones" saga, which will hit theaters in May 2008, has been in development for over a decade with several screenwriters taking a crack at the script, but it only recently gained momentum.

Lucas kept mum about the plot, but said that the latest action flick will be a "character piece" that will include "very interesting mysteries."

"I think it's going to be really cool," Lucas said.

At the inaugural Rome Film Festival in October, the 64-year-old Ford said he was excited to team up with Lucas and Spielberg again for the fourth "Indiana Jones" installment. Ford said he was "fit to continue" to play the title role despite his age.

Ford played Indiana Jones in 1981's "Raiders of the Lost Ark," 1984's "Temple of Doom" and 1989's "The Last Crusade."

Lucas praised Ford for breathing life into his character.

"Mostly it's the charm of Harrison that makes it work," he said.

Snoopy

My daughter is really into Snoopy! I loved Snoopy as a child. It's a shame I didn't keep all the Snoopy items I had as a child. When visiting our local hardware store, I came across this inflatable Snoopy. My daughter loves it! When we deflate Snoopy, she puts a pillow under his head and covers him with a blanket. Too cute!

Suddenly Last Summer

I saw Suddenly Last Summer in New York City 12/9/06. The play was excellent! Here is a synopsis:

The play features Catherine Holly, a young woman who seems to go insane after her cousin Sebastian dies on a trip to Europe under mysterious circumstances. Sebastian's mother, Violet Venable, tries to cloud the truth about her son's homosexuality and his death, as she wants him to be remembered as a great artist. She threatens to lobotomize Catherine for her incoherent utterances relating to Sebastian's demise. Finally, under the influence of a truth serum, Catherine tells the gruesome story of Sebastian's death by cannibalism at the hand of local boys whose sexual favors he sought. Both his mother and later Catherine were only devices for him to attract the young men.

I took some pictures during my trip to NYC. I have a picture of the Empire State Building, Macy's and the Christmas tree that was decorated at the Lancaster, PA Amtrak station.
